God, I love Texas!

My favorite state in the union. Houston is my favorite city.

Houston is my hometown, but I have zero interest in going back. Too hot, too humid, too big, not enough parks, and it has a sh*tty music scene.

The food, however, is the sole saving grace of that city. You can find some amazing authentic cuisine there

@FenixGears I've lived in Austin for 5 years, as well as San Antonio and Brownsville down near the border. I loved Austin, but I'm more of an introvert so the nightlife didn't appeal to me that much. Music scene is far better there though. South Padre Island is way nicer than Galveston or Kemah ever could be.

Houston is good to raise a family since everything is so cheap there, but that's really the only appeal. Or if you like sports, but I don't care for either so there's no reason to go back

@TinyViolins International flights out of Houston are usually cheaper than DFW. The food in Houston almost makes up for the traffic.
