What country, city, or state will you never visit again?

Marrakech. Have to haggle for a decent price for every taxi ride, for most handcrafted goods sold in the bazaars, and other things. They have 3 levels of prices and Americans get the highest prices. Some places like regular stores have fixed and fair prices though. Standing outside in near100 degree heat (feels like Las Vegas) haggling with one taxi driver after another for a ride for 30 minutes and then walking 6 blocks to take a bus to a grocery store is something that I will never forget.

Florida. A humid shit tip. Once you’ve done the theme parks it’s got nothing.

The beauty of Alaska was very nice, but the very long days in Summer and the very long nights in Winter were too much for me when I was in the military on TDY in the '60's.

New Jersey. The people and all their nastiness robbed me of my childhood, killed my family members with indifference which literally took away any hope I had for a happy future there. If it did justice I would tell all of them to go F themselves. But it doesn’t come close. So I just moved away to one of the much better other 49 states and avoid anything New Jersey instead.

Texas. Grew up there. Could not leave fast enough.

Nebraska. All my family who lived there have either died or moved to other states.

@4meAndyou Nebraska has been running tourism ads in Oklahoma City this summer. I laugh every time I watch it

@cherokeepatti I would go back just to see it again, I suppose...but my heart would break. I probably wouldn't recognize anything.

@4meAndyou I don’t have any close relative there so have no reason to go. My grandparents retired in Grand Island after they sold their farm near Boelus. Grand Island did seem like a pleasant smaller city.

Hmmm 🤔

Probably Alabama?

Not that I have anything against it, just don't have a reason to go back.

Pretty much any state run by Republicans (Christian Taliban) or country run Muslim Taliban
