Hmmmm....tough one.
Two periods of time.
The first would be the 19th century, the date--June 25th, 1876. The place....South Dakota. The mission would be as a specter, to view Custer and the 7th cavalry at Little Big Horn.
The second would be the 18th century, the date June 16, 1775. The place.....Breeds Hill. Most people will identify with Bunker Hill, which while the original target, is incorrect as Colonel William Prescott assigned 1,000 of his volunteers to build an earthen fort there, which both overlooked, and was closer to the british.
My ancestors fought here, and I once again a specter, would like to know what they did here.

@Freeranger It would be interesting to view The Battle of the Little Big Horn.
