Yes, I agree Patti...if one has an unlimited amount of time...lots to see

@booboo: It's tempting to stop at so many of those scenic areas you drive through. I could probably spend a month on a road trip through western US driving on I-40.

@cherokeepatti: yeah, I'd love to do that as well...I asked the wife to take a month off from work so we could do a road trip while we're still relatively young...she said "no"...oh well... I've always wanted just to jump in the truck and take off, but it's no fun doing that alone

@booboo: you're right. Knew someone who retired from the university and they bought a Winnebago and traveled the country for years.
