Great photos. But the "Eagle's nest" was in Germany. When I was there I felt really very peculiar.

@samueltyler2 yes on the Austrian German border. i stayed in Salzburg and we rode in a bus there

@akindheart interesting, I don't remember it being that close, but that was many years ago. I enjoyed Garmisch as well, that was great, until we hiked into the mountains and found a shrine to some Nazi soldiers of WWII.

@samueltyler2 i went to 2 towns. not sure now if they were in Germany or Austria. one was koenigsee. Hitler built the large building in the middle of the other town.
