I Travel the Road Less Traveled

It has purple and lime green pompom flowers in strange circular beds lining it! And the red green flies seem to have colonies in them and they are blatantly eating the life from the flowers.

It's neither tarmac not concrete the road, but solid and compact and it's millions of years old! The giants walked on it and there's a hollow down the centre that you have to avoid it or trip up!

The people you meet all have dark eyes, but so many are blue! They're laconic and move very slowly but they travel so quickly along its length. The women wear brown skirts and the men brown shirts, and everyone has a wry smile which although odd is welcoming.
