What is your advice for planning a vacation to Las Vegas?

Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F Best Comment
Don’t go in the summer it’s usually ungodly hot out.
Don’t drink on the strip way over priced.
If you’re using a rental car obviously don’t leave anything of value in it, lots of break ins.
If you do drink Fremont st at binions bar is strongest for least $
Keep in mind that Las Vegas was NOT built on winners if/ when you gamble.
Try to remember that it might be a playground for adults & the city is happy for all the tourism money but respecting where you are is never a bad thing.

wasityou · 46-50, F
@Eddiesolds I'm making a note. Thanks!
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@wasityou Have fun out there.
LyricalOne · F
I like to stay in the middle of the strip, preferably Bellagio if you can afford it. A lot of the airlines, like Southwest and JetBlue have good vacation packages.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@LyricalOne No, nothing more than short trips out of one casino on the strip to another really.
LyricalOne · F
@wasityou Hoover Dam is a great day trip. A boat ride on Lake Meade is also really nice.
FEMALENATURIST74 · 46-50, F
@LyricalOne I like strip too.x
xixgun · M
Only bring the money you can afford to lose.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@xixgun there's always ATMS and credit cards
xixgun · M
@cherokeepatti Leave the cards locked in your room (or at home)
wasityou · 46-50, F
@xixgun I completely agree!
FEMALENATURIST74 · 46-50, F
Take lots of money or don't take too much!

Great time...not as hot..
wasityou · 46-50, F
@SW-User That's what I've heard but there have been trips without really being outside. Lol.
jackson55 · M
Take plenty of money.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@jackson55 We've been there a couple of times. Haven't seen a show yet. Seems we should plan to do so if we go again.
jackson55 · M
@wasityou I find the shows much more fun than gambling.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@jackson55 I may someday too.
Amylynne · 26-30, F
go to reno instead
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Amylynne I really do prefer Reno but I'll be in a group and none of them agree.
Amylynne · 26-30, F
@wasityou im there usually once a year, friends and The Burn close by.
not this season tho
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Amylynne Best of luck to you when you do return.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Do it when it cools down...
wasityou · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti That's beyond my control for the next trip. Thank you though.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@wasityou I've gone in March on Spring Break and saw snow from the 13th floor of the Golden Nugget, by the time it hit the ground it melted. Went a week before Thanksgiving and it was really mild and a cool front blew in the last day and needed to wear a jacket (breezy cool).
Expensive place.
Spend your monies wisely.
Don’t gamble.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Melies Life is a gamble. But I may keep the monetary kind to a minimum next time. Thanks.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Melies then why go?
Shows, shopping, spectacle, voyeurism
Hookers n blow is the way to go
wasityou · 46-50, F
@PervertedPrincessOfDeath not for me but I'll advise others in the group 😂
