SW-User
@SW-User I wonder if people type with an accent? 馃 :P
SW-User
@SW-User hmmm kinda. I type y'all instead of you all. 馃榿
SW-User
@SW-User Hey you're right! that's a bit of a giveaway lol like me saying gidday 馃槀
SW-User
@SW-User Where as I hardly notice their accent unless they are from the Southern US. I can notice subtilties in accent but they are not much different than Canadians.
SW-User
@SW-User I come across quite a few Americans and Canadians on working vacations here but as i can't tell the difference with their accents, i say where abouts in north america are you from? It's much safer that way lol. I can pick a US southern accent though 馃槉
SW-User
@SW-User I'm from southern USA
SW-User
@SW-User I think I've given away I'm Canadian. With me don't worry about the safer aspect in how you ask, I'm in southern Ontario
SW-User
@SW-User I could tell if i heard you talk 馃槉 One of my all time favourite bands is from North Carolina. That's southern US isn't it? Gotta excuse my ignorance here i don't get out much lol. I'm gonna go see them play one day in the US I hope. They are called Southern Culture on the skids.
SW-User
@SW-User Yes i think you'd said sometime before. Canada seems to be a very popular place for younger Australians to go on working vacations, usually to the ski resorts. I'd love to visit there one day.
SW-User
@SW-User North Carolina is sort of south, yes. In latitude it's sort of middle
SW-User
@SW-User yeah it's considered a southern state.
SW-User
@SW-User From people I know, Australia seems a popular place for Canadians to move. Wouldn't be a huge surprise as both of our countries are from the 'commonwealth' of Britian while still offering different cultural experiences.
SW-User
@SW-User @SW-User great thanks! ok also is Mississippi considered a southern state? My other favourite band is from there, Bass Drum of Death. Ok so your currently hating on my music tastes... it's ok 馃槀
SW-User
@SW-User yes Mississippi is also. No I never heard those bands.
SW-User
@SW-User That is very true. I know quite a few canadians here.
SW-User
@SW-User Never heard of the bands you speak of :)
SW-User
@SW-User @SW-User Gosh, i seem to have unusual musical interests, not just here but where you guys live too :)
SW-User
@SW-User 馃榿
SW-User
@SW-User Don't know.... I've become much softer in my tastes in music as I grow older (I know, so normal) even if my tastes have become more eclectic
SW-User
@SW-User I like older southern rock. Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jonny Lang
SW-User
@SW-User I LOVE Stevie Ray Vaughan! I thought he was the ultimate rock musician. You'd probably like Southern culture on the skids. They have a credence influence but there's humour with it lol...

@SW-User I grew up in Ohio and went to Toronto once and tourists asked me for directions, and I said I was lost, too. It was nice to know I fit in, in a cool place like Toronto. But I would not want to live there, too cold!
SW-User
@JoyfulSilence Yes id love to visit there but I wouldn鈥檛 like the cold. I鈥檇 like to visit the US one day if I can ever afford it. So much to see.
JoyfulSilence46-50, M
@SW-User Someday I will have to visit Australia.
