where was you last trip outside of you country?

@reflectingmonkey my dad was born and raised there so I’ve been to Scotland a lot over my life. It is very beautiful but the weather is cold gray & rainy most of the year. I’ll put it this way we went 5 years ago for a cousins wedding. It was sunny and we were all shocked. The wedding was a in May. How was Asia? I’ve never been.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit i just loved Nepal. I think I would have preferred Thailand 20 years ago, now its overrun by people you used to see in cancun resorts, there to party more than to discover. I'm more backpacker type. but I did a 5 day trek in Nepal, was totally awesome

@reflectingmonkey that does sound very cool. I wonder if Thailand might have felt different when guided by a local. Great that you do enjoyed the experience

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I did a one day trek in Thailand with a guide, that was fun but it was only because the tour guide coudnt find other people todo the longer treks, I was the only one interested and they needed at least 4 people to do it. I would like to see Iceland, Scotland and Scandinavian countries one day. my next trip might be the west coast of south America from top to bottom.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit ya, and I saw this post on facebook that Iceland has amazing ice cave. I always wanted to visite ice caves. more precisely, I would like to Kayak in a ice cave, not sure if I can do that there.
