People like this is the reason I never reported it.

A girl went to get a massage, and the man twisted a hot towel around her neck and raped her. She called the police right after, gave a statement, took a rape kit, the rape kit came back negative because he didn't give his dna to match with what they found, so they dropped it.

Then imbeciles make statements like this:

And some women are no better with the victim blaming.

This happened at Essentials massage & facials in Riverview, Florida.
The man that did this COMMENTED on her tiktok video about the assault twice "did you come?".
So why is it that he's out? And she's getting questioned?

Yet I've had people ask me "well why didn't you report it? why didn't you speak up?"
BECAUSE THE WORLD DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE VICTIMS!!!

I remember growing up, when I was maybe 13-14, there were a looot of rapes happening in my neighborhood, especially in one specific area, and what did the police do?
They posted WARNING SIGNS around the area "WARNING: RAPE DANGER" ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME?
So basically, hey if you still decides to walk here, idk maybe cause you live here, and something happen, I mean, did you not read the sign..?

This world is beyond messed up.

It's just ludicrous, the kind of things that people will come up with to defer from the basic truth that nobody causes rape but the rapist. There is a clear separation between your choices and behaviour and the choices and behaviour of others. If someone decides to walk late at night in a dangerous area on their own, for example, then you could question whether that was inherently safe to do but you cannot go on to blame even what could have been forseen consequences on the victim. It's like saying that if I don't lock my car then I'm to blame for it being stolen. No, the criminal is the only one to blame for it being stolen. I was careless at best. In the case of going for a massage it can't even be called careless, it's entirely legitimate and you should reasonably expect that it's safe.

@SW-User It's so bad that the police didn't even bring the man in to the station. Almost as if they know what's going on and are giving it a pass. I'm going to get a massage soon, and ofc I expect to be safe doing so, just as I've been in the past. 😩
