It's monstrous to say that a woman should be forced -- or even morally obligated -- to carry a baby to term if she's been raped.

It is infinitely more monstrous to say that that same woman should have to raise that offspring as her own despite not even having chosen to have one, and yet there are apparently people on this very site who believe that. What kind of mind virus could possibly lead someone to act this way? What the hell is going to happen if radical pro-natalists like this take and consolidate power, will everyone just be treated as a state owned baby-making machine? Jesus, that's a bleak tought.

I try not to think about this too much but it’s starting to feel like thats the plan. I keep thinking about how studies are showing that millennials and gen z have much lower birth rates compared to previous generations. Its alarming. Bc in the end, their motives aren’t out of care for a life. Thats very clear

@Ohbabe Don't worry, conservative thought is nowhere near as coherent and goal-oriented as you're imagining.

@Ohbabe I'm half kidding. The reality is that the motives are deeply mixed and ambiguous. I tend to think the most common motive is to legitimize "conventional relationships" & abstinence until marriage as the only accepted way of living. Some ppl have truly been hoodwinked into loving fetuses though, and some see it as a way of stalling white population decline.

Any demographics based argument for banning abortion is inherently white nationalist bc immigration solves the falling birth rate problem just as effectively.
