Maybe the most hideous crime imaginable

My daughter was raped in college by her roommate's boyfriend. I will never forget the phone call from her at the hospital and the hour drive to get to her.
Losing your virginity in such a violent and is something that still affects her years later. Luckily, she has found a caring and patient husband who has been a tremendous help in her life.
A good part of what I do now, being a support and councilor to both women and men with addictions and coming out of prison is a result of my experience with my daughters struggles.
