Anti-rape device: The RapeAxe

Designed about a year or so ago.
There's still much controversy going around, both for and against it.

What do you think :[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ny2WtwuO3w]

Im not sure. It probably does what’s it’s supposed to do but would you walk around with one of those stuffed up there every time you go out?😬

@SW-User no it will be for when you’d most likely need it, although yeah in South Africa where it’s from it would more than likely be everyday.
@SW-User It's supposed to be quite comfortable, comparable to a cup or a tampon .

But there's the thing...would you even be going out if you were preparing for the chance you might be raped ?

Its not a solution I feel .

Its a partial good idea , but its the use factor that really doesn't work .

@Voomis im not a woman or a man who would rape anyone so im talking as an outsider. I don’t know how uncomfortable would it be to wear one but im sure it’s not unnoticeable. Also ,if this becomes a widespread thing, rapistst will also know it’s a thing and I don’t think it will stop them

I agree it wouldn’t stop those who will do it regardless.
it will deter a handful if we’re very lucky but most importantly is it will stop those who’ve attempt rape from doing it again as well as halting self pleasure given the damage.

As for wearing; it may be a bit uncomfortable the first few instances if you are not used to using things like a tampon or me steal cup, we get used to those very quickly.

For some it would be unnoticeable, not to the point that you forget it’s inside you but that you don’t notice it’s in there.
For some it would be very noticeable but not enough to cause any distraction.

Given the material it’s made from and the lightness of it it would definitely be easier to adjust to than typical contraceptive devices
@SW-User yeah.
The rapist gets some sort of come-uppance ...but is it worth the cost .

Its a judge mess .

Victims are left dead inside , and some wish they were. But some also recover .

And ...if women did start wearing these...there will be some sort of solution to check...women will just be raped with objects first.

Or even men will go for younger targets.

I don't think the inventor looked far enough ahead to the butterfly effect.

@Voomis I really have no ground in that argument. I simply don’t know. The problem is that a rapist who is able to overpower a women will look for it first, probably causing more damage. I know it’s disgusting and believe me,I would shoot them on site but this is the messed up world we’re living in.
