I Forgave The Man Who Raped Me When I Was Young

I feel like this is the thing that lots of people can’t get their heads around. I have forgiven my rapist and in many ways I love and care about him. I certainly won’t ever forget what he did to me but I can forgive it and that makes me feel good. I don’t know, it’s kind of weird.

I don’t know exactly. I guess it wasn’t so hard because I’ve always been close to him. We had a few conversations about it and I realised he regretted it the same as I did. I was 10 years old the first time. @mrbuddhawannabe
