I Have a Scar

Scars are so beautiful. they tell a story without any words and inscribe a memory into your skin. i have so many from falling as a child (balance was not something i was good at) and more that i adore. it’s ur own personal storage collection of the fact that you lived and survived to tell the tale ❤️

disclaimer: ik it can be hard to view some scars if they hold traumatic memories so ive seen people use vitamin e oil or bio oil that helps reduce them. obviously this isn’t needed nor a requirement bc ur scars are beautiful but for those who feel like they want/need it reduced ive heard those methods are helpful :))

I have a dark patch of skin though not that noticeable on my left side of stomach ..maybe from reactions of medicine ,,and many scars but I dont think it bothers me even for my belly dancing ..

@SW-User im glad it doesn’t bother u bc i’m sure ur belly dancing is amazing and a scar that’s a part of u shouldn’t prevent u from doing something u love ☺️

If you have certain physical scars that bother you (from the memories they entail or from ugly comments the elicit from others).... /rubbing them with Vitamin E oil will soften them and reduce their discoloration, but will not help them to disappear.. You'll need to pay for cosmetic surgery for that.
My second wive had scars from a breast reduction the bothered her because they were so visible and we were nudist in public, that we used these methods on and they worked.. She was a redhead and fair skinned..

You put the beauty of scars so eloquently.

@Thespis thank u ❤️ i’ve spent a lot of time coming to terms with them and admiring their strength

@newdawnnewday I believe in this so much and would expand it to all sorts of marks on the skin. It's the story of stretch marks, a line, a shade, it's really the uniqueness that makes for individual beauty.

@Thespis i wholeheartedly agree ☺️ every human being is diff and comes with their own story etched on their skin whether they were born with some of them or some they received along their journey

I have a lot of scars on my body too and two on my face from falling on my face lol.But you can’t see clearly unless you look deep enough haha ..the one near my nostril I had a year of monthly cortisol injection to soften the keloid.

I have a beautiful scar. It goes low, straight across my tummy. A result of two little humans that have blessed me more than I could ever dream possible.💞

@SW-User we are all on our own journeys to self-acceptance ❤️ it will take time but i hope you know that ur scar holds immense bravery and power from a time that was scary and that scar just proves that you are alive
I have scars too. But I'm insecure about mine. But then I'm insecure about my looks in general anyway. Lol

@canusernamebemyusername im sure u have nothing to worry about with ur scars!! i had to change my mindset on how i look at them and by looking at them as a story ive grown to accept them :))
@newdawnnewday That is healthy:3
I love how you see the beauty in that.
