To an extent can we hold our parents for some of the traumas we endured as a child?

For example the bullying? Where was my parents whilst i was getting bullied?

Absolutely. Why should parents be seen as beyond reproach? So many people have been physically, emotionally, and/or sexually abused by their parents, no one in the right mind wouldn't hold them accountable.
