Did you know kink is actually supported by many many phycologists, counselors, and life coaches?

Many many people don't know this but many of people in this field have studied the effects of kink and all of its wonderful benefits to trauma, and certain mental health conditions. The results are amazing. A study in 2021 showed that s*xual abuse survivors who participated in kink relived their trauma in in a safe environment through kink and experienced the feeling of autonomy and control through this type of experience. There are plenty of other studies backing this as well. Others with depression or anxiety can feel control over their lives through becoming a dominant. My personal experience is with self harm. I was suggested trying kink. Now impact play is my outlet when I feel the desire to harm. All of this being said your partner shouldn't ever be surprised by the trauma or made responsable without consent for healing these traumas.
