Trauma is the result of a negative life event such as an assault, car accident, witnessing death, etc. Horrible events. I don't see how anyone can become "addicted" to this because actual victims have a survival instinct to avoid the cause of trauma. Having been though a few events where death was a strong possibility, I posit that you are in fact not experiencing trauma and don't know what real addiction is. Are you addicted to being nearly killed, raped, or watching someone you care about die?
