Can you be addicted to trauma and how do you overcome that

After some time the trauma becomes a norm for you. Then you hold on to it as a place of comfort. You don’t want to leave it because of the unfamiliar. So not an addiction but a place of comfort.

@Mmiker if they start living with it, it means they are enacting pain or suffering as trauma to affect others around them. Basically to attract attention. Like the quote "More loyal than the King" , we can empathetically feel more pain than the one suffering from it.
