Repressed memories that suddenly come to the fore of things that happened to you, or that you did as a kid, as a result of the environment in which you were raised?

Yes. I go through periods of time when I’m free and clear of my childhood trauma and the people who perpetrated it on me. And then when the memories do come back I’m as traumatized again over and over in crushing waves.
