So yesterday evening an girl decided to talk very loudly about someone’s trauma in public

At the train station and in graphic detail. It wasn’t even hers but she was saying it so loudly and it was extremely annoying. Keep that stuff in private places like therapy. By the way it triggered me as I’m very sensitive and it makes me all depressed and ill if I’m exposed to it when it’s dumped like that (uncalled ). I don’t get why you would want to talk about stuff like that in an public space , and Loudly so everyone around you can hear you , also the same applies to strangers don’t dump it on them as soon as you meet them as I get that a lot from random people I’ve never seen before in my life and they decide to start opening to up me about all their trauma and I’m just sat there so confused and I don’t say anything because I don’t want to upset them.

Although i do understand what you mean about how it triggers you, other peoples lives carry on reguardless of the thoughts and feelings of others. They werent to know someone overhearing would be hurt...im sure they didnt think that for a second. Almost every single conversation we have could trigger something in someone.
I agree thoughbtgat some people dont have much tact, but we cant limit what people discuss in public places.

Could be lack of empathy on their part. The world revolves around them or lack of verbal communication skills
