My stupid brain and paranoid self

I cannot believe how my brain works. Like it LITERALLY digs up old things that I have not worried about for years, to have me worry about now.. It is like I cannot be carefree not even for a short while !

Sure. I occasionally have incidents from 40 or 50 years ago pop up in my brain, and cause me fresh embarassment and pain at my gaucheness or stupidity.
