So you think people should just ingest things made by drug companies without being informed or the dangers?
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 But the point: there are no dangers of autism with that drug.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@FreddieUK Statistics say otherwise. Should people at least be aware of those statistics?
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 Which ones are you referring to? My understanding is that no studies have shown anything conclusive.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@FreddieUK Actually there are several studies that indicate an elevated number of autistic children as the result of either they or their mother's use of thylenol. Personally I think we should err on the side of caution. At least let the people know that what they are ingesting is not a harmless substance.

@hippyjoe1955 If people’s ability to understand the dangers is in par with your ability to read then we should ban all drugs because we as a species can’t handle it

@hippyjoe1955 but that’s the point Joe. For most people it is completely harmless. All chemicals have an effect on the body: that’s the point of medicine. Nearly everything has an inconsequential side effect, but is always a balance of benefit versus disbenefit. In this case, no study has come up with anything that needs the kind of drastic scaremongering which Trump and his cronies are about to unleash on an already paranoid population.
