I have found that unless God gives me the Grace to trust Him I can never trust Him. When He gives me the Grace I can never not trust Him.

@hippyjoe1955 is there a specific type of “Grace “ that you would like God to grant you?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Kaetana I am simply grateful for any Grace He should bestow. I am in no position to be picky.

@hippyjoe1955 perhaps you could begin by identifying Gods Grace in the places & areas of you life where you wouldn’t normally recognise it. Like waking up to a new day each morning, which is essentially ‘ a clean slate’
the opportunity to enjoy nature. animals including our pets, the love of children & grandchildren. A spouse , Friends. The list is endless ☺

@Kaetana Trust me I have been following Jesus for over 40 years and have seen Grace after Grace after Grace given to me. I have seen so many miracles happen that I would drive you insane by trying to recount them. He has called me to minister to His people and insofar as He has given me the Grace I have done so. I am far from perfect but I rely upon His Grace alone.

@hippyjoe1955 But God will never give you anything that isn't 100% in your head. He/She/It doesn't "give" you anything, never could, never will. You are free to believe it though, that is your right.

@JamesBugman So when I lived without employment for over 3 years with a wife and 5 kids and no money in the bank but every time I needed to pay the rent of buy groceries the money would show up...... Care to explain how that was all in my head?
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
@hippyjoe1955 Only you can explain things that happened to you.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JamesBugman Except there is no explanation. At the same time I had a family of 6 show up unexpectedly for supper one night. We had a bit of spaghetti so we made what was enough for our troop of 7. Everyone ate a full plate and went back for seconds. In the morning my wife noticed that the serving bowl was still full. Care to explain?

@hippyjoe1955 Its the drugs man, lay off them.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JamesBugman Don't drink nor do drugs. I was asked to preach a sermon one day. I started and finished in what I thought was a half an hour. The congregation began to check their clocks and realised I had spoke for about an hour and a half. A few of the people came up to me and asked what had happened. They went on to say that when I began to speak I disappeared from sight and all they could hear was my voice. I was standing behind the lectern but they couldn't see me.

@JamesBugman Yes I need to stop casting pearls before swine. Sadly you are a man born blind and I am a sighted man trying to explain rainbows to you.

@hippyjoe1955 OMG, some flowers just appeared on my kitchen table, did you do that?
