is anyone else worried about mass immigration

[c=003BB2][i]i'm in the uk and a lot of people seem to be talking about this problem now, and how deterimental it is to the country....my question is; why is nothing being done about mass immigration? this island cannot take endless amounts of foreigners coming here burdening our system, why don't they go back to where they came from?
