I cannot believe that not one single person has commented upon your posting. The world is in chaos. It is time to make major changes in our lives. There is no stability. If you don't try to make a living as a fitness trainer, you will always wonder "what if ?" Can you take a longer leave of absence during the year and fully explore this job? Being happy in a job is very important because just having a job to pay the bills is so unfulfilling. I feel for you and I wish you well, GymRat584.

@PoetryNEmotion That's very kind of you to say. I do have some extra time in the form of my summer vacation. I'll have to resign from my job a month in advance before the next school year begins if I acquire enough clientele to justify going. So I'd have until August to make a final decision.
And you pointed out something I meant to say in my post: I'm sick to death of saying "what if..." because that's all I ever say in regards to jobs, bands, relationships, everything.
