Do you ever notice as you get closer to a person that they treat you the same way they treat themselves?

Always. Been reflecting a lot and I realized it's almost never me, it's almost always their projections and their standards for themselves. If they hate themselves, they'd hate you too

@greensnacks I think so too. It always comes out at some point. If those types of feelings overwhelm it's going to do the same thing to the connection.

@SpectralMourning they are manageable, if the person is willing to understand and grow and find mutual grounds. That is, if the treatment is shit. If it's good, no need for that.
