I Wonder What People Really See

I keep getting told the world is going to shit. Everyone has it rough in some way or another. I’ve heard we were supposed to have a civil war, death camps, a great divide.

Now I don’t believe in a lick of this mumbo jumbo. I travel the country a lot especially for work (environmental management) nowhere have I been has it been this evil chaotic void.

In college we were told that the right is evil. White men are evil, white people are evil, the Christians are evil, the rich are evil, etc etc.

In college we were told to feel bad for minorities such as the black, Asian, Latino, communities etc. especially the black community. We were told they can’t do anything on their own and need our help.

Now, I work with a lot of black folk, a lot of my class mates were black. And I have some friends who are black. None of which would be happy if they found out people felt bad for them because they’re black.

I myself think everyone and anyone is fully capable of success. Sure there are times things go against us whether it be a bad play of cards or an actual person who has horrible virtues who is slowing you down.

I guess I’m curious if anyone truly buys what the schools are “teaching” do people have the ability to perform critical thinking and find this to be the system trying to spoon feed us a bunch of bullshit?

Well of course people are buying into it. Where do you think all the students and professors who are saying this stuff heard it from in the first place? It's kind of hard to shake off these beliefs when you're spoon fed them at a very young age in places like, believe it or not, elementary school.

@DdXx1 Hmmm... you made several quite interesting points there. Would you like to discuss them in a pm?
