One thing that has been on my mind a lot lately is…

The fact that I don’t have any reference to Chiara’s paternal family experience of life and health history is a big worry for me as I see her growing up and becoming a young woman. My inability to determine who her father is could mean there is a timebomb in the darkness that could affect her prospects in life.

My rebelliousness in my later teenage years just might prove itself even more foolhardy and frustrating. I’m still thinking about how she might react if I was to pay for some kind of genetic based test to see if she has a propensity for something not in my family experience. I’m sure I shall soon find some grey hair if I continue to be bemused by this.

Excellent advice to go together and have the results compared by an expert.

Has she ever asked who her father is?

There is evidence that daughters are more equally likely to a 50/50 genetic inheritance where with sons it’s a 49/51 in favour of them being more like their mothers
@Ximenajacoba Is this due to

F = XX
M = XY w/Y's shorter than X's?
