@DeWayfarer Being alone will not drive you crazy as fast as a bad relationship.
It won't result in PTSD or DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) along with anxiety and depression. Worst case, it could even be a matter of physical abuse. Being alone is much better than going through that. Staying together just for monetary reasons is not good.

@Tastyfrzz Right! I once dated a girl that had MPD, as it was called back then. It's why she dated me. She could trust me.
It only got worse for her being alone.
Ever seen a homeless man talking to himself? 🤷🏻♂
There are plenty out there! And they are ALL alone.
The better off ones tend to group together. Homeless encampments.
BTW I have been homeless myself multiple times, across multiple states! So I know the routine extremely well.
In Wyoming I even took in homeless girls. One was a murderess as I found out later. She didn't kill me!
I know both sides of the story!
I've actually lived both sides multiple times.
It's why I could take care of BOTH my parents! Despite my siblings not wanting to.
Both my parents were abusive even as a child or adult. They most certainly couldn't live together.
Hence why it was up to me to take care of both of them.
Both being and wishing to be alone are equally bad!
It only got worse for her being alone.
