I wanted to be a teacher, but when it came to it....i knew i didnt want all the red tape and admin to stress over. So....i became a teaching assistant!!
@DoubleRings nope...its extreamly hard work....for a minimum wage. But, I don't have paperwork, planning, long meetings out of hours. I don't take marking home or have to spend hundreds of pounds of my own money on resources! I do the best i can do while i'm in work, but once I'm out the door my time is my own.
