I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now

When I tell young people they have no clue
their minds have not fully developed yet
and because they can Google almost anything does not make them wise
I always get the same answer
"You don't know what I have been through ,you don't know what I know "

I know they don't support themselves their parents do
I know many today who have degrees but can't find jobs in the area's they are trained for .

I see me ,who had never failed at anything yet trying to school my Dad and my Grandpa's ,,who had all made major contributions to society all of them
Oh the arrogance of youth

I wish if I could go back in time ,I would only change one thing
I would cut my younger selfs penis off ,and cut out his tongue

I would stop him from being hurt and causing it

Dad always said "Son one day you are going to be a very wise man ,I just hope it doesn't cost you to much for the experience "
It has ,,God how I wish I had listened to Dad
He was the wise old scholar ,,I tried to school
Now I reap what I have sown
Thank God my kids are actually wiser then I ever was ,they listen

If I knew then what I know now, I'd be rich.

Without a doubt there have been a number of occasions in my life when my choices would have been different had I known, at the time, what I know now.

Yes... that is so true... but we can pass it on to family and friends. What we learn.
