Swirling Around (TRS)
Like nighttime diamonds
In the nighttime sky
The thoughts I think
Keep shining bright
The positive and negative
Creating all my currents
The love and the hope
That has at times been complacent
Nothing but a whirlwind
A vortex of swirling imaginings
A pretty cloud at sunrise
Glowing pink within my winds
And there upon the softest breezes
My wings lift up in hope
And there upon the waves that move me
I find my ways to cope
I walk out into the everything
That creates my world of woe
And I stare down all the negatives
And I let the worst of it all go
And though the pain will sometimes linger
And even if I haven’t figured it all out
I know that there’s something left for me
And of that I have no doubt
