@Captain What Westerners don’t understand is that just like in Europe, the African continent has a multitude of different ethnicities. So intertribal warfare often resulted in the defeated tribe or ethnic group becoming enslaved. They didn’t consider it "enslaving their own people".

@bijouxbroussard Well when Samuel L Jackson did his doc on slavery he said the money they got paid was so good that cheiftans did give away their own people some times. This points to the main thrust of the video. Its not about the black and the white or as you quote different tribal groups, its about rich vs poor and money vs the proletariat. And stabs in the back by your own leaders is not at all uncommon anywhere for any one. Its exploitation of the many by the few and it wont stop until capitalism stops - which is driven by growth and the need or "perceived need" for growth and that is why keeping the poor poor keeps the rich rich. As I always bring up - workers on planations yeah, but young boys up chimneys and down coal mines. Exploit - divide - disempower - own - rinse and repeat and brainwash them that this is a better system than any other. I doubtr any communists wealth matches Elon Musk so the argument that the rich communist leaders have all the money doesnt work. Trouble is we need some sort of capitalist wealth to make growth - or we did until AI came along. Now all we need is AI and roboritsatio and humans wont be needed anymore - I know - lets kill off the prolls in a nuclear holocaust - what a good idea. We'll go build a home on Mars until tit all blows over. Job done.
