I'm not sure that they realise but it's copying the language of grievance and oppression narrative from the radical left and minority groups.

We are a besieged minority denied free speech and oppressed by the woke elite and the liberal intelligentsia. I have a dream that one day every man woman and child on this earth will be able to publically humiliate trans people and shit-post NAZI memes without having access denied to a social media platform.
