Honest opinions ruffle feathers

Difference of opinion appears to be criminal on forums such as this. Btw having another opinion doesn't constitute hate.

Btw I haven't a conservative outlook (people keep saying this) I lean left.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Keep it real.

You know what....... well done for saying this! I have pretty much agreed with everything related to children you've said over the last couple of days!

I vote Labour but now I'm on your side I'm going to be labelled far right.....

What you were saying about this stuff being taught to kids is bang on... my wife's entire Zambian family labels this stuff as "crazy white people shit".

My Zambian BLM pin label wearing sister in law gets really enraged about this and calls it a form of neo colonialism.

@BritishFailedAesthetic It's all proper bonkers. They just take their views to extremes and then get offended if everyone doesn't agree 馃し
@Lanie78 Yep, it's great to know there are others who won't label people 'facist' (insert)-phobe for disagreeing with them.
Lanie7841-45, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic Everyone is entitled to an opinion. People shouldn't be branded for simply having a differing view. It's silly.
@Lanie78 It is but thankfully in the real world it's not like this. It's only a mindset for those stuck on these forums and who are in need of a good bit of Vitamin D. 馃槂

@BritishFailedAesthetic yeah. the Chinese call it white people disease.

Your wife is correct and it is a form of neocolonialism because white middle class people ought to tell the world what to think
SW-User
@revenant What? You think White Middle Class people should tell the world what to think?
@SW-User What? That's what drag shows for kids people think mate!

My wife's family are from Zambia! And as they say "this is crazy white people shit!"

I vote Labour mate revenant is right.
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic White, middle class people should not be telling the world what to do. And this backlash against drag queens reading in schools is pure homophobia.
@SW-User No it isn't. Stop trying to impose neo colonialism on ethnic minorities. They all realise this as weird shit.
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic How on earth is this neo-colonialist? We are talking about drag queens in schools! This whole narrative is that LGBT people should be kept away from children.
@SW-User Ah I see from your profile you are straight! I am not and you know nothing of the struggle of being bi.

Drag queens are something I wish I'd had at my batchelor pary, i.e. not for children!
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic What does this have to do with neocolonialism? And what were the drag queens doing that was so horrendous?
@SW-User Kids don't need to be exposed to drag, let them have their innocence ffs!

Drag is not part of ethnic culture.

I'd appreciate a drag show, you wouldn't!!!
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic Innocence? All they did was read stories! And why do you keep banging on about ethnicity and neo-colonialism?

Do you not think drag-queens tailor their performances for all age groups?
@SW-User Because as my Zambian African in-laws say it is crazy white people shit!

If I am a cisgender male dressing as a woman it is inherently fetishistic!

Notice what I said, if you are a transwoman it is NOT fetishistic.
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic
If I am a cisgender male dressing as a woman it is inherently fetishistic!
So I take it you think pantomimes should be banned...
@SW-User Got to be careful nowadays..... glad you noticed the latter bit of what I said. Once you are old enough to earn a salary live how you want.
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic So in that case you also, by your logic, have no problem with drag queens. They're old enough to earn a salary, they can live how they want. And by the way, what exactly do you mean by "got to be careful nowadays..."?
@SW-User Why would I have an issue with drag queens? Unlike you, who is straight, wish I had one as a stripper at my bachelor party! Nowadays kids learn to much, kids are learning a complex world as it is, don't need more complexities!
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic You keep repeating the same old stuff.

Now, answer me this? what is the difference between a drag queen going into a school to read a story and a pantomime dame going into a school to read a story?
@SW-User No idea. Just a weird concept and we are a weird Country.
SW-User
@BritishFailedAesthetic Good, so we agree. It's homophobia, pure and simple, this backlash against drag queens reading stories in schools :)
@SW-User How is it homophobic? This is only a recent trend.
