It wished it hadn't appeared. :)

Happened last year; two black widow spiders directly overhead. I got a rolled magazine, stood on my bed, and knocked one into a bucket, then got off the bed, dumped in on the floor and stomped it. Then I followed the other one as it ran across the ceiling and, when it crawled down the wall, I used the magazine again, knocked it into the bucket, dumped it on the floor and stomped it. A lot of excitement for a fat arthritic old chick like me.
