Physical punishment. Most kids are spoiled today.

I think it probably falls into three catagories.
1. Life skills. How to open a bank account; budget management; best way to pay bills; how to make your money go further; what to do if you need to claim unemployment; how to keep books; Law - your rights and responsibilities. That kind of thing.
2. Practical stuff. How to iron a shirt; cook basic meals; wire a plug; how to unblock a sink; how to effectively complain to your landlord, boss, bank manager etc. Basic first aid, basic car or motorcycle maintenance, how to effectively paint a wall, hang wallpaper,basic home repairs etc.
3. How to look after yourself ! physical wellbeing; mental health; relaxation that kind of thing !!

Lucid dreaming, because it is an amazing alternate reality which can be used as a method of stress relief; deep, deep, deeeeeep self-exploration/spiritual shit; and, it can improve motor skills IRL. Practice sports in a dream, then retain any of the motor skills you refined, during the day.

Also more real life practical shit.

Also maybe a more in-depth sex ed 2. And a 3. Why not. Women could sure benefit from that. My 5th grade sex ed class was boring and quick as fuck--quickly forgotten. I didnt learn much from it.

@W4nderer: Seriously or not..I think they can conduct some classes and ask students about what would they do in different situations and then explain them behavioral science and psychology behind it.

Education does include it i guess but i think there should be one global basic language. I mean the purpose of language is to communicate and I think everyone should be able to communicate with people all over the world to anyone. We can have all other languages as the result of culture and art of different places.

@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: the United States English of course
argav83 · 36-40, M
@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: I know it's not possible to have that just like the world peace. But I think it would be better.
argav83 · 36-40, M
@Sissycindysue: How much world you think you have seen? English is pretty much a said global language but many people all over the world don't speak or understand English. And don't talk religious shit with me. I don't believe in that. If you can talk something sensible and logical your can comment otherwise don't bother.

How to manage a checking account. So many folks seem to think it is okay to continue to write checks, even after the available balance disappeared 25 checks ago.
@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: Absolutely. When I was in college, as an older student, it amazed me that the younger students were expecting $50,000 salary starts and be able to drive BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's, etc. They were totally discounting the notion of beginning their careers in entry level positions, within their respective fields of endeavor. So unrealistic.
SW-User
@Maverick1962: still the same expectations.
@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: They're in for a reality check.

Something that helps them on how to think rather than what to think. There are a lot actually, maybe some form of collaborative learning that is not rooted in scores and fear, a participative model of education.
Cindy · F
I believe education lacks desperately the systematic development and cultivation of the natural powers by inculcation or example.
Learning better coping skills to deal with the realities of life, and how to budget and plan wisely for the future.
