Technically more than not my ideas are not smart. However the experience and knowledge I gain allows those very ideas to become sound and gain credibility.

There a podcast called 'The pessimists archive' about various new technologies and how people have reacted to them with dumb ideas.

Like, when recorded music was first played on the radio a musicians union leader insisted that the entire band be paid to be in the radio station to listen to it while it was being played.
