many years ago. we had alot of chemistry together but, our personalities did tend to clash a good bit, even as friends. i have a feeling anything more would have been a chaotic trainwreck.

@ReptilianFromPlanetCrush I just think we would have never understood each other and be miserable ,although he was a very nice person, we didn't have the same belief system
@Justmeraeagain that would make it challenging for sure.

It’s never really occurred to me to disclose romantic feelings for someone unless they made it clear they were interested. And they generally had to work pretty hard to do that. 😂 I don’t remember ever getting so far as to think it wouldn’t work, just had the interest and set it off to the side. More often than not I ended up glad it never went further though. I always saw everything good first and took too long to see the rest.

Ys, when I was a teen I had a crush on a family friend, he was a bad boy rocker, just my type. He stopped coming to visit with his parents by the time he was 16, we caught up a couple decades later and I’m glad nothing came of my crush.

Yep, twice. And while I know it was the right decision, there remains that remembrance and "what if' thought that creeps in every so often.
Not a regret, just a passing thought of "what if?"
