The municipality issuing the restraining order will be able to answer this question for her. The laws regarding this differ by locale. I feel badly for her, and I hope she can find the necessary resources to leave.

What she needs to do first, before getting the restraining order, is to get a lawyer, a DIVORCE, and leave. Unless she can win the house from the divorce and see if she can afford it
