It's not just birth, when you hear a clip like that, it symbolises sacrifice; friends, nice body, career, going out, sleep ins, money... And more! :)

@SW-User Ouch.. She told me they drugged her as much as they possibly could but they had to keep going. I was scared after that with my next that I’d wake up or feel it.

No, I’m not try to relive going in and out of consciousness while in between asking why they drugged me all b/c they couldn’t tell I was having an asthma attack and NOT a panic attack 😡 The next wasn’t much better, I’d rather not hear my kid’s bone crack either 🥺

No... Because she was only a pound born.. It was an emergency c-section. I had a broken toe..
I was in a cast and everything was not the way it was supposed to be.
Terrifying experience.

@SW-User no, it was a question I asked my mom and sister and they said they would want it.

I only thought about it because recently my nan died, and I realised how nice it could be to have an audio clip of a happy moment.

Personally I can’t think of listening to myself groaning, crying out, sighing, all in pain with doctors in communication and the sounds of squishing bodily fluids etc would be one of the happy moments I’d like to listen to. Others may want that but myself I can just think of several more moments that are happy I would choose an audio tape of over giving birth.

@SW-User I can empathize with mothers that find that very beautiful. But I can say from taking care of so many precious little ones over the years a cry isn’t something I personally need to listen to on a tape to remember a special time. Maybe I’m the odd one out 🤷🏽‍♀️
