If it was the main language spoken here I would but when my family came here they learned English. My husbands family didn’t.@JBird

I've tried several methods with no success, I think the best way to learn is to be in the country where you're forced to use it every day

@JBird No, I'm a Spanish native speaker.
I learned English because when I was younger, my grandpa wanted my cousins and me to learn English, so he thought stop speaking Spanish would be a good idea to make us learn.
So, he just stop speaking Spanish to us, I was around 4 or 6 years old, so, everything I wanted or needed, and when I say everything, I really MEAN it -eat, drink water, go to the bathroom, etc- I had to ask for it in English or I wouldn't be allowed. So, I learned.
