I usually think about them, wonder how are they feeling, what are they doing, remember the times we spent together and then I start crying.

The characterised sense of loss becomes overwhelming and infiltrates all connotations of the mind - and you have to do all the housework yourself!!

You mean rather than just a dream of someone? Hard to be sure when you really know someone at all...I can tell when I'm missing someone, but I'll drive myself crazy wondering if it's for the right reasons.

I think to me a sign is when they still keep popping up in my mind and I wished I could have talks with them.

When you often think of them and realize how very alone you feel, even when in a room full of people.

When thoughts of the person get in between your to-do list of the day.

It's a feeling when you feel very alone and you just want to cry

Whenever you feel alone at their absence.. maybe ?

When you think about them constantly and you can't wait to hear their voice or see them

When you start mistaking random people for them on the street.

Because I keep thinking about them. :(

A painful desire of wanting them near?

You always know. There is no question.

When you realise that you are not the best form of yourself at that moment.

A bit of a void feeling

I begin thinking about them often

Dream about them

I long for them.

When my daughter was a baby and I started to leave her with childcare. I'd go to pick her up, she'd see me give me a massive grin and then burst into tears. She couldn't speak then but it was worse than the tears at drop off. She really missed me.

So I guess quite often when you see or hear from them again and you remember what you have not had.
