I just want good friends

Throughout my life every friendship I’ve had so far either ended or I was replaced. I keep asking myself what’s wrong with me? Am I dry and boring? Am I not funny enough? What’s so good about her that you left me? It’s come down to whenever I say something I need it to be funny so this person stays with me, this feeling is really exhausting and I don’t know how to make it stop.

If you have to live up to some standard to always be funny, these probably aren't true freinds. I always categorize people in my life into the 3 categories (may be an over simplification).

-People that are so problematic that I need to stay away from.

-People I can hang out with and have fun with, but can't trust to be supportive with personal informations

-True friends that have my back just as much as I have thiers. True personal connections.

I find the 3rd category to be quite rare, so don't expect this circle to be quite larger than a few people.

Be yourself.

As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones.
I agree with everyone in this comment section, bud I'd like to add one more thing.

My mom always says that she met most of her true friends around the age of 20. So don't worry i believe that true friends will come later in life. :)

Ik how it feels, and it hurts. But, u have to be urself too, dont hear what other think. Dont change for people and then become friend because of force
