I wish I couldn’t see

Here inside all of this darkness
All I do is stare
Down into the wishing hole
That doesn’t seem to care
Not a light to be found
Not a single light anywhere
I’m as blinded as they come
And I never no longer care



Streetlights shining on the streets
That lead me to nowhere
Streetlights in the darkness
Shining on the stairs
Streetlights never ending
Blinding in their glare
Streetlights all around
But I’m blind so I don’t care.
