Try to "get out there" as much as possible. Join social groups. Go to places where you can socialize and mingle. Try not to panic.. but don't pause either.

Start slow if you must.. but do start at all or you will still be where you are right now, ten years from now.

I work for a charity that supports and houses people like yourself. You could look into shared accommodation or supported living to help with the loneliness. We have independent flats too where I’m there for an hour each day incase anyone needs help or a chat.
How are you at going out by yourself? There should be mental health cafes and drop in sessions around you. They’re great for meeting other people with shared experiences.

Try finding old friends on Facebook or other social media sites. Go to the park, bowling alley, library, and if you see someone your age then just introduce yourself.
