is it bad to live in your own world

this is me.. i've always lived in my own world and been slightly detached from society...it can cause you to also feel very alone, lonely and cut off...as i have no support network or friends anymore apart from my elderly parents who live far away...so i live alone and living in my own world, you can feel cut off from people....but i'm also happy and get comfort from being in a world of my own.

but i often wonder how i will meet a woman, find a partner etc, as i am now past my mid 40s.
