Do you have a comfort food you grab when you're upset?

I just laid in bed and ate the whole damn box sulking in my emotions. Im gonna regret this in the morning. 馃様

I used to. Not anymore for a long time. You can distract yourself. Journal. Take a long, hot shower or bath. Exercise. Call a friend. I spin poetry or hike or paint or sketch. Takes time to break bad habits. Good luck!

@PoetryNEmotion Thanks for the suggestions! I did go to the gym today. I guess I'm just in my head tonight.
@PerfectIllusion We have to learn to soothe ourselves in times of need, of stress, of trauma. Our parents were not good at it nor did they teach us this. It takes time and practise to soothe ourselves. Do try some of my suggestions or create your own. You are most welcome. Keep me updated.

@PoetryNEmotion As I age, I'm slowly learning this. The older we get and as our cycles of life change, we have to find new ways to adapt. Definitely nothing that we were taught in school or in our childhood. Finding a balance is certainly difficult.
