Michaels has paint, canvas, and paintbrushes. Often people choose language (writing) when their expression would be best left on canvas.

@SW-User my expression comes out in the form of stick figures. This is a talent I just don't possess.

@Arorin My expressions come out in photography. There I've been told I hold talent. To me, I write equally well .... I have something in me that creates an insatiable desire to write/create, and I can't live up to it.
